Home Away from Home

Wed, Jun 12 – Sun, Jun 16, 2019 (VRBO)

In town did a few days to visit family, and we absolutely loved the historic farm house. It was a home away from home and such a great place to relax in the evening. The history of the house is amazing. We got farm fresh eggs from the chickens out back, and some yummy pastries Ronnie left for us. For those with children it’s a dream because there was all the little things that make life easy, washer and dryer with detergent, dish soap, sheets and towels, coffee, full kitchen and the list goes on. When we had to change some dates he was so gracious and was able to accommodate what we needed! We will definitely stay here again whenever we are visiting RI, and we can’t wait to explore more of the immediate area. Thanks again Ronnie!

Comfortable and charming

Fri, Oct 19 – Sun, Oct 21, 2018 (VRBO)

This place is beyond fabulous. I love historic houses, so this was the perfect place for me. The floors slope and the massive fireplace in the center of the great room is a sight to behold. But the amenities are all modern — from the super luxurious bathroom to the comfortable beds. It is a beautiful neighborhood and easily accessible to everything Providence has to offer. I cannot say enough good things.

Wonderful property on Providence’s East Side

Wed, Jun 12 – Sun, Jun 16, 2019 (VRBO)

This home was amazing! All the comforts of 2019 in a historic home built in 1731. This is a great area of Providence ..safe and quiet surrounded by beautiful older homes. Short walk to cute restaurants on Hope St. My boys loved staying in this home (they loved their upstairs bedroom…and we loved them having their own space as well!) and they loved interacting with Ronnie’s chickens. All of our family would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A nice getaway

Mon, Sep 17 – Thu, Sep 27, 2018(VRBO)

We had the pleasure to stay three nights in the Cole Farm house in Providence with our three kids. Even though the house is one of the oldest you can probably book in Rhode Island, we had every convenience you could think of: A filled fridge with fresh cold water waiting for us, good coffee, fresh eggs from the chicken in the garden and Netflix/WIFI for the teenage-part of our family. We have enjoyed the garden in the nice, quiet neighborhood a lot. Thanks for being such a great host and making our stay memorable.

Old World Charm

Fri, Aug 24 – Thu, Aug 30, 2018(VRBO)

We chose this farmhouse for our first visit to Rhode Island, and were quite pleased with our decision. The interior offered an old-world attractiveness combined with a modern kitchen and other amenities. Appliances were new and clean, Wi-Fi performance was reliable and the home was well-maintained overall. Location was very convenient, being only a short distance from downtown shopping and the Blackstone River Bikeway. Ronnie was an attentive and gracious host from the time of our friendly reception to the well-wishes prior to departure. Fresh eggs each morning were a delightful start to our day. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay at The Farm in the city

Sat, Feb 24 – Mon, Feb 26, 2018 (VRBO)

We had such an excellent time at The Farm. Ronnie, the host, was awesome. Check in and check out was a breeze, great communication. We have never had farm fresh eggs until this visit to RI. We were in awe of the history behind the farm, very unique three sided fireplace. Great space for hanging out, very comfortable beds too. All in all five star weekend! Thanks Ronnie!!

The Cole Farmhouse was incredible!

Fri, Aug 10 – Mon, Aug 13, 2018 (VRBO)

Our stay at the Cole Farmhouse couldn’t have been better! Check in was easy, the place was immaculate and so welcoming. Ronnie brought us fresh eggs from his chicken and and on our last morning there a box of pastries from a local vegan bakery! The house in so charming and located close to everything! Can’t recommend this place enough.
