The historic Cole Farm in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island
Cole Farm Ct. is nestled in a serene cul-de-sac in the most desirable neighborhood in Providence, Rhode Island. Perfect location near coffee shops, artisan stores, and restaurants — less than 2 miles from Brown University and RISD.
Cole Farmhouse was built in 1731 (some say 1732) almost half a century before the American Revolution 🇺🇸 Our historic farmhouse features majestic chimneys, wide plank floors, exposed hand-hewn beams (of American Chestnut), high ceilings and striking period details.
“The name of Cole has been identified with the history of Rhode Island since the early years of the struggle of the little colony for existence. Washington Leverett Cole.. devoted his entire life to bringing this farm to a high standard of efficiency and excellence, purely for the love of the work, and for his deep interest in agriculture and dairying.”
